Remote interpretation, in-person clinic days and the referral portal are provided to licensed veterinary professionals and the practices they work in, not to animal owners. Portal accounts are issued by the practice and are personal to the veterinarian they are issued to. Do not share sign-in details.
Animal owners looking for a clinician can use the network directory.
A report is a consultative professional opinion based on the images and history supplied. It is not a diagnosis of the animal, and it does not create a veterinarian–patient–client relationship between the practice and the animal or its owner. That relationship remains with the attending veterinarian, who is responsible for examining the patient, for clinical decisions, and for treatment.
The quality of a report depends on the quality of what is submitted. Where a study cannot be read, we notify the submitting practice and a return fee applies in place of the read fee.
Standard turnaround is as published in the fee schedule. A STAT read carries a written guarantee of a report within 24 hours of our receiving a readable study — but the requesting practice must contact us directly so that we can acknowledge the STAT request. Submitting a case marked STAT does not on its own start the 24-hour period. Where a study cannot be read, the STAT fee is not charged.
Clinic days are scheduled with the host hospital in advance. The host hospital is responsible for the facility, for restraint and handling, for any sedation, and for owner consent. Cancellations, no-shows and out-of-region travel may carry the charges set out in the fee schedule.
Fees are those in force on the date the work is performed, per the published rate card and any pricing agreed with an individual hospital. Historical work is priced at the rates in force on its own date.
Invoices for in-person clinic days are issued per day. Remote reads are billed on a monthly statement per practice. Default terms are net 15 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Where card payment is offered, the amount payable by card may differ from the amount payable by check or bank transfer. Both figures are shown on the invoice. Accounts in arrears may have portal access or further case acceptance suspended until the balance is cleared.
Enrollment includes 12 months of access from the date of enrollment, covering lectures, video labs, anatomy reference material and homework submission. Access may be extended in 3- or 6-month intervals for the published fee; extensions are stackable and may be added at any point, including after an access window has closed.
Homework grading and remote-read submissions during an extended period are billed on the original enrollment terms. Course fees are for access and instruction; they are not contingent on any particular examination or qualification outcome.
The remote-read qualification pathway recognises competence in submitting studies for interpretation. It is not a specialty credential, a licence, or a substitute for board certification.
Lectures, video, anatomy plates, written material, this website and its contents are the property of the practice and are protected by copyright. Enrollment grants a personal, non-transferable right to view the material for your own professional education during your access period.
Do not record, download, redistribute, republish or share course material, or use it to teach others, without written permission. Sharing sign-in credentials or course material is grounds for ending access without refund.
By submitting case material or homework you confirm that you are entitled to share it and that you have any consent required from the animal's owner. You keep ownership of your material. You grant us the right to use it to provide the service — to read the study, produce the report, grade the homework, and keep the record.
De-identified material may be used for teaching or publication only where the submitting practice or participant has agreed.
Operational text alerts are sent to the practice's own staff, who provide their mobile numbers directly. Reply STOP to stop them or HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies with activity; message and data rates may apply. Mobile numbers are not shared with third parties for marketing. See the privacy policy.
Referring veterinarians receive email about the progress of their own cases. The intermediate progress emails can be switched off; the finished report is always sent.
We aim to keep the portal available and reports on schedule, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider outages, illness and travel can delay a turnaround. Where a delay affects a STAT case we will tell you.
The services are provided without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any case, invoice or enrollment is limited to the amount paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing here limits liability for professional negligence to the extent that liability cannot lawfully be limited.
Either side may end the arrangement at any time. We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, for sharing credentials or course material, or for conduct that puts patient welfare or other users at risk. Records already created are retained as described in the privacy policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Material changes affecting portal users or course participants will be notified by email. Work already invoiced and enrollments already purchased keep the terms under which they were agreed.
